How much does a new website cost?
There’s not one single answer to this question. A website design is quoted based on the needs of each individual project. Every website is unique and requires different components; we design and develop custom websites specifically for your business. We’ll ask a lot of questions, assess your needs, and give you a quote based on that assessment. Most of our sites run in the $3,000 – $5,000 range, but can be more or less depending on needs.
How long will it take to get a new website?
On average, we shoot for a 3 – 4 week turnaround, but the pace of any project is set by each client. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your availability with feedback, how soon the content is ready – all this affects the speed of completion. The functionality needs may also play a role – more complex sites will take more time to develop.
Do you only create WordPress websites?
Yes. WordPress is a great content management system that now powers more than 30% of the web. Its huge market share is due to it’s flexibility and ease of use. Don’t worry, we’ll teach you how to manage it and help you along the way.
Do I have to be local to work with you?
Nope! We work with clients all over the world. Our whole team works remotely, allowing us to find the absolute best team for our business.
Will I be able to update the site myself when it’s finished?
Yes! We love it when our clients take control of their website and learn to manage it on their own. We’ll provide you with a set of comprehensive video tutorials to help you learn your way around, as well provide you with a training session to help get you on your way. (Note: We love to answer your questions!)
Will you maintain my site for me?
We can! We provide on-going support for many of our clients for $75.00 an hour. Most companies charge $125.00 an hour.
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Absolutely! All of our websites are 100% Responsive which means they will be perfect on all Desktop Computers, Laptops, Tablets & Mobile phones! We design the website with all devices in mind
When do I pay?
We have a number of different payment options. Option #1 would be 50% down to start then the last 50% once your website is completed and moved live. If option #1 will not work for you we have Option #2 which is a 0% Interest Payment Plan. You can put as little as $600.00 down and pay a Monthly payment of as little as $300.00 a month until the balance is paid in full. We can work with any budget!
What Payment types do you Accept?
We accept all major Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Cash & Checks.
Invoices are emailed to you using Quickbooks which allows you to easily open and pay your Invoice right from your email by clicking Pay Now by entering any Debit or Credit Card. If you would like a Paper Invoice mailed to you we can do that as well. Once payment is made you will automatically receive a payment receipt which will be emailed to you.
Are there any on-going Yearly Fees?
Yes there are always 3 things that need to be renewed each year which are: Website Hosting – $220.00 each Year, SSL Certificate Renewal – $100.00 each year & if you need us to register a domain for you that is $40.00 each year. So each year you will be invoiced for $260.00 – $300.00 depending if you need a domain name. If you already have one registered you will not have to pay the $40.00. These are Yearly charges that are charged with every website company no matter who you go with.
How much input do I have in the process?
As much as you wish! Your input and feedback is crucial to this process. We’ll start with questions about your needs, your likes, your wants and work with you to develop just the right look, feel and functionality. If you would rather be hands off we will take care of everything and submit it to you for review once we are done.
Who writes the content for the site?
Usually that is you. You are the expert on your business, so it’s usually best if it comes from you. If you need help, we can grab text from another website and tweak it to fit your business!
Where should my website be hosted?
We can handle all of your Hosting Needs right at Web Tech! We setup Website Hosting for you. No need to go to multiple companies. We charge $220.00 per Year which comes out to only about $18.00 a month!
